Hughes Aerospace, commonly referred to simply as Hughes, is a Cascadian multinational aerospace corporation. The company's primary business is the design and construction of commercial aircraft, with also contribution from secondary divisions focused on defense and helicopters. As of 2020, Hughes Aerospace is one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world.
Hughes was founded by Timothy Hughes in Shasta, Prince Albert, on April 1 1946.
