Seit März 1981 stehen zwei Panzer Leopard2 und seit Mitte Juli zwei M1Abrams für technische Erprobungen durch die Gruppe für Rüstungs dienste und Truppenversuche unter der Leitung des Bundesamtes für Mechanisierte und Leichte Truppen zur Verfügung.
English: Demonstration of the new Leopard 2 and M1 Abrams main battle tanks.
Since March of this year, two Leopard2 tanks and since mid-July two XM1 Abrams have been available for technical tests by the armaments services and troop tests group headed by the Federal Office for Mechanized and Light Troops. Three XM1 Abrams were tested by the Swiss army from 1982 to 1983 (registration M+0827, M+0828, M+0829).
