Nordmarken or as it is officially known the Monarchie Nordmarken is a nominally independent nation in northern Altaris which is joined in a Dual Monarchy with the Kingdom of Flachland to form the Dual Monarchy of Normarken-Flachland. Nordmarken is ruled by King Dieter I, who has been King since his coronation in 2007. Nordmarken is split into six states and it's capital, Eichen, lies in the north of the country near the border with Flachland in Middland.
